MORTEN LAURIDSEN (born 1943) has been Professor of Composition at the University of Southern California for over 30 years. His vocal compositions feature regularly in concerts worldwide. His music has rapidly increased in popularity in the last 15 years and he is now the most frequently performed American choral composer. When not teaching in California, he lives in a log cabin on an island in Puget Sound.
